The challenges that businesses face today require a heterogeneous and increasingly complex IT infrastructure. Companies are forced to concentrate on their core competencies due to the fast change in markets. It is therefore necessary to optimize the activities that do not belong to the core business.
Outsourcing / Outtasking
Outsourcing is defined by a company that gives away all of its activities to an external partner for supervision. A company that decides to outtask only assigns defined tasks to the external partner (such as to BTB) to supervise.
Outtasking is also an interesting alternative to outsourcing due to other reasons: all tasks in the IT and Communications Departments are subdivided into separate tasks. This way you will receive an overview of the company structure. Afterwards you can always decide which of the tasks you want to give to an external partner. Outtasking can be an interesting preliminary stage to outsourcing as the know-how won from breaking down business processes can be used when deciding to outsource.
